This model is inspired by the single fins used by Montgomery “Buttons” Kaluhiokalani in the ’70s during the shortboard revolution, with a slightly narrower tail and nose it has a comfortably balanced volume distribution and it provides agile surfing for a single fin, especially in the pocket. This surfboard will teach you which sections of the wave generate speed, and it will help polish your style and approach maneuvers more calmly.
Tip: Single fin surfboards have a relaxed surfing experience, they are the ones that dictate the rhythm in the wave, forget rushing your wave, this is a down-the-line board great for maneuvers with open and classic arcs. These boards are fast in a straight line because they have reduced drag because of the only fin. Try to position your foot always a little in front of where the fin is positioned, this way the board will stay loose for curves and maneuvers.
Surfboards are available in Epoxy (EPS foam) and PU (polyurethane foam).
